We live in a weight-obsessed culture. There's no denying that pursuing weight loss is a social norm - but does it really make us healthier? What toll does it take on us as we chase it? What do we do when we hit diet rock bottom?
If you're here, I'm going to guess that you've felt that rock bottom. That you're familiar with the idea that there may be another way - but aren't sure how to make it work for you, where to get started, or how to apply these concepts to your own life.
Introducing Nourish & Thrive, a self-paced online course to help you stop dieting, feel confident around food, and take your life back. It's designed to help you learn why diets don’t work, how to heal your hunger and fullness cues, create a better relationship with your body, and find food freedom.
In addition to the learning modules, you’ll also get access to journal prompts and activities that I use in-session with clients to help you make the material your own and create a strong foundation for intuitive eating in your life and your body.
Like many others, I used to think “nutrition” was synonymous with “weight loss.” And like many others, that led me down a stressful path toward disordered eating and a rocky relationship with food and my body. On the outside, I looked like a “healthy” eater - but on the inside, I was full of guilt and little brainpower to spare for anything that wasn’t a calorie count.
After digging into the research, learning about weight-neutral care and intuitive eating, and finding my place in the warm and welcoming non-diet community, I’ve developed a healthy, flexible relationship with food and my body - and I’m here to help you do the same. Satisfy Nutrition was born from this shift in mindset. I believe food should be delicious, supportive of your physical and mental health, and above all - satisfying.
I began the Satisfy blog in 2016 and launched my private practice in 2018. I will never stop being grateful for this platform that allows me to support people in healing their relationships with food and body image, restoring metabolism and hormonal health, and shifting focus from restriction to abundance.
No matter your story, there is space for you here. You deserve to take up space in the world.
If there's one thing I want you to know, it's that you deserve better than a life spent counting calories and tracking macros. You deserve a life that's full - and it's hard to life a full life on an empty stomach. I can't wait to help you take back your life from dieting and find a freeing, satisfying way to eat.
